Help needed with Armorer Dennis

So I'm in the Forest of the Fallen Giants and I must have died about 20 times to this guy.I SWEAR he's harder than anything I've ever faced in DaS1.

I'm in the circular bonfire room next to him, please place your sign here if you can. SM is 28.

Yeah SL is 28, sorry. Also to the guy who put down his summon sign and watched me die while performing the 'praise the sun' gesture - that was only moderately funny :^)

You can summon a NPC shade in the long room with the skeles, just make sure you dont summon him until you've cleared most of the trash mobs or he might mission complete before you get the invasion.

If your soul memory is 28, that means that you ran straight to Armorer Dennis without killing anything. Maybe ONE thing but that one thing would have to be worth more than 28 souls. Match making in this game is off the total amount of souls you have collected on that character. It's the number in the top right corner of your stat sheet.

There is absolutely no way your SM is only 28 at that point in the game.

Yeah white phantoms can kill npc invaders.

Lure him back to the room with the door you opened with the key. Use the pillars to block spells. It's easy that way.

i noticed he gets stuck on corners sometimes. use that to try to hide for a estus. other than that stone ring and bastard sword worked wonders for me
