Aldia's Keep torches?
So I've read I need to light four torches and fight 4 copies of Forlorn to get that dragon to move, but how do I light the torches? I walk up to them with a light and have no options to light the torches. I lit one somehow, no idea how, and killed Forlorn. Now there is one torch lit on the wall in the large room and one in the hallway. How do I actually light the rest of them, though?

This is one of the sconces you need to light, you can equip a torch by using a Flaming Butterfly or lighting one at a bonfire by pressing Y and then A (on controller).

EDIT: they all look like this. Ignore the ones on the walls because you can't light them.

Ah, that explains it. Where are the other 3?

There is one on the top floor before you pull the ring on the dragon statue, and iirc one near Malformed Shell and one next to the corrosion pool.

But how am I supposed to reach those when the giant dragon skeleton is in the way?

You can just walk between its fingers and head up.

Edit: Did a friend tell you to do this? You don't have to light the torches at all to progress. If so then he was trolling you.

Well, but he will still need the key acquired from the dragon head to open the door in the great hallway. There are plenty of useful items in that room.

Thanks.
Thanks a lot. I've spent more than 55hours on SOTFS and never figured out how to do this.

Nope. In SOTFS it's required to light them so the dragon attacks you. If the Dragon doesnt attack you, you cant unlock the doors on the right side of the hallway, there is no key anymore.

It not necessary for game progression. If you want to get into the side room, then you have to light all the torches, but that's entirely optional.

Not only did you necro an old thread for some weird reason, your reply is also completely irrelevant. You even know what "progress" means? Certainly not looting optional items.
