Build advice question: Twinblades

I have always wanted to make a twinblade character but I'm not sure exactly what to do. Looking at the Twinblade and the Dragonrider Twinblade but I dont know what direction to take it. I love my caster, I enjoy my Strenght character but I dont know whether I should go pure dex (always trying to make a dex character but never been a good with them) or Intelegince to boost the DrTb. Anyone who has run the weapon group got any advice? Thanks!

Use the red iron twinblade. it is a stranght weapon.

Same as above. Red Iron Twinblade is pretty OP.

Twinblades are probably one of the weapons that benifit the most from a rob flynn build (ring of blades + Flynn's ring) Since both give a base damage increase per hit it tends to be better on weapons that hit a lot.... and what weapon hits faster then a twinblade?

Back in the original Dark Souls 2 I made a build with twin blade that worked really well. Red Iron Twinblade (Of course) in main hand, and an Old Whip in my off hand. Twinblades have pretty short range and are easy to parry, so the Old Whip is perfect for dealing ranged damage without worrying about getting parried, and it will bait the opponent into rushing to close range where you can demolish opponents with Red Iron Twinblades insane damage. Also R1R1 with twinblade then timing L1 with whip after they roll away is a good trap.

I liked the stats of the Red Iron Twinblade but sadly, its not the easiest thing to run for. Sadly, its why I have never jumped onto a Twinblade. Most of the more interesting ones come late in the game and I really hate spending resources on junk gear to GET me to them, lol.

I made a sorcery twinblade user with the Dragonrider Twinblade. It scales with int (sorcery) So you can do a dex sorcery build and get some good stuff, also the magic weapon buffs looks so awesome on the twinblade.
