What now?
I found the dead king got the ring, went through the doors that require it, killed the throne watchers (with help, those guys were anoying! mainly due to them being able to revive each other), spoke with dragon got mind key, spoke with king, wnet into giants mind and killed the king giant...

what am I missing? I went back to the queen and shes gone (shes not in her original room nor the other room with two thrones). Was I suppposed to kill vendrick or when he said seek the crowns did he mean the DLC areas? Im lost basically.

go back to the boss room with the throne watcher and defender shes there. if you kill vendrick you get another boss if you did the questline right but only if you kill him before nashandra.

Don't kill Nashandra yet if you want to see the new ending. Get 4 or 5 giant souls, kill Vendrick and (I'm not sure about this, someone else correct me if i'm wrong) collect all DLC crowns

You don't need to get the crowns for the new ending. You also don't need to answer the Scholar's questions in a particular way (I was trying to get a regular ending for my NG+ playthru, couldn't be bothered doing it again for basically no reward).

That was remarkably hard to phrase in a non-spoilery way.

Ok cool. Shes annoying, keeps cursing me :( got her down to half health though (lauched fire balls and greater fire balls from a distance then dodge her beams and try and get her to close in away from those curse blobs).

question: If I kill her it's end game? So I should go do the DLC areas (found the keys) before doing so? Or can I kill her then go do DLCs?

I wasnt going for any ending really... first time playing DkS2 so was just playing. I left the king alive though cuz I saw no need to kill him and jus wondered if I was meant to kill him to progress.

Once you kill Nashandra, assuming the king is still alive, you'll get the ending, and then be transported back to Majula, where you have the option of starting NG+ from the main bonfire. So you can kill her, then carry on with anything you've left off.

There is an additional ending available once you've killed the king as well- but you need to have killed him first before killing Nashandra.

Useful tip for her- kill the curse orbs that she summons- they will be removed in one hit. There are also NPC summons available outside her room, depending on other actions you've done during the game.

You can destroy her weird dark hovering things that is causing curse. Hit each of them once. And you can do DLC after killing her. To go to NG+ you need to choose it in Majula's bonfire

There is an item you can get in the Iron King DLC that makes you 100% curse resistant. Makes Nashandra's fight so much easier.

Thanks, after being told I could 'kill' the curse blobs I pretty much slaughtered her in two tries :) not a very hard last boss at all. the persuer encounters i find ALOT harder than that slow b*tch lol. All she has going for her is the curse blobs and turns out you can destroy them lol.

Yep. she's not that hard once you figure it out. if you have the curse resistance it is a bit of a joke also.

Nashandra and Aldia are a joke imo the twin throne guardians were harder to take down.

Yeh, i ended up summoning a sunbro..well first one fell of the edge (useless! lol) second one took all the agro and we ganked them one by one. My original tatics was to get ones health down to near death then kill the other one off and finish the first quickly before eh or she revives the other... they ended up besting me each attempt though. Scotish ben the NPC summon was no help and just got gang banged each time I tried him lol.
