Crazy stamina levels?
i always stop spamming stam at 20 but i see people swinging bkgs for like 6-7 swings.... is it really worth sinking 20 levels for 20 more stam? i suppose stam is the main stat in the game really but never tried it.

Depends on the weapon, in Ds2 (No Scholar) I used to play a light armor, rapier dude going full dext/adapt/stamina. I think i could easily swing 10 time my rapier, and my stamina regen speed was reaaaally fast. Also the poison was op.

For light weapons more stamina is absolutely critical so, yeah, pumping more points into END is definitely worth it.
I typically get END up to 60 and get the third dragon ring which puts stamina up to 180. Ensures I always have enough to pull off some cool looking and devastating combos.

Ya let me go ahead and clear this up for you. Stamina softcap is 20, but when you include the third dragon ring and it's stamina increase of 12.5%, the higher your stamina is the higher the ouput of the ring. So yes, basically when you want to swing your sword alot, and catch people off guard, use more stamind. I always run 40 END on any of my UGW builds. and will usually only go as low as 30 for smaller weapons and 20 for being a mage. But if i go below 40 I almost always use Cloranthy to compensate for stamina regen.

I have 99 END. It's worth it.

This. Allow yourself to imagine a fight that isn't going your way, where you have managed to take a couple swings at your enemy and knock down half their health, but they just keep coming after you, taking bits off of you with each strike. No matter how many times you roll and feint, they just keep coming.

They. Never. Stop. Chasing. You.

Having 99 END is like playing Jason Voorhees or Michael Meyers in a slasher movie. You can run for days and avoid everything, and still have the stamina to attack a few times back-to-back.

I mostly had 30 stamina. It's much more than 20, worth it.
