Crumbled ruins are BS!

Playing as a sorcerer and ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ this place is hard, those mages have crazy range and are like machine guns then those ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ knights sprint towards you like usain bolt and r@pe you with their hammers... holy hell im actually wishing i was back in the depths. wouldnt be so bad if the lock on system for spells wasnt so damn short ranged.

Shrine of Amana is overall a horrible place to be in, especially without a magic-resistant shield. Probably my most hated area, along with Frigid Outskirts.

What you can do is try mage-sniping with Binoculars if you want to try and pull one at a time, but other than that, that place is going to be a headache for you either way.

Get binocular from majula then manualy aim your spell. If you are pro enough with magic then you don't even need binocular to snipe those priestes.

Better than the COD setting on 3rd bonfire (2 guard with healer, 3-4 priestess hiding near pilar, 1 invader spaming soul spear.

just an update, i went and used up some boss souls to level my dex up a bit, got a bow and sniped the casters.. got to the singing demon and killed it first try.. but ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ that was some unfair BS. Edit: i've tried the bino thing, it works in some situations but soul arrow has a pathetic range

Poison arrows is the key to that area imo. Not the bravest of ways to play but it gets the job done incredibly effective.

Nothing Dragonrider Bow with STR50 DEX50 can't do! this bow can 3 shots mages and those crazy archduke.

Just lure them one by one, use obstacle as cover, everything will be cleaned in short time.

I use Iron Arrow though just because its cheap and great price per shot.

you realise theres like 5 extra damage going above 40 on a stat..

Actually I don't really care if its just extra 5, I usually souls farm crazy and put everything lol
