Vendrick help.

So i decided to kill Vendrick for getting the King's Crown item. I was thinking that its needed in order to get inside the Memory of the King + Ashen Mist Heart. I think the Crown isnt needed. So i decided to "forgive my sin". Went to the NPC and for some reason the "sin" costed 0 souls. Went back to the Crypt and saw that the fog wall is still up. Wasnt there a way to remove aggro on Vendrick?Im doing a Sorc/Pyro run. Im at 60 int,30 str,20 agi. Using drangleic sword+5. My best attempt out of ~20 deaths was bringing him to half health. I have 5 giant souls. I tried everything. Sorceries,pyromancies,hugging his left leg and attacking 1,2 times. Im out of ideas and i cannot make Vendrick return to passive state. I am lost.

You can kill him and then interact with the armor pieces in the room. So you can get into the memory. Just take a shield with 100% physical defense and try hugging him to death. He isn't that hard. Then enter the memory after the three DLC areas and talk to Vendrick.

Like i said i tried everything. I know killing him would make the armor interactable again. I tried everything with 5 giant souls. Isnt there a way to make him passive again.

Vendrick is optional boss, he can be kill without sins occurred. He is harmless unless you provoked him with your attack so.... there only one way to end this, finished him for good.

The real Vendrick can't be killed though so that play will not accident kill him in the dream :)))

Only way to make him back to passive (walking hallowed Vendrick) is burning bonfire ascetic at Undead Ditch bonfire (the one at mid area, not the one at entrance).

This will reset 2 bosses, Vestalt (sorry, can't remember name) and Vendrick together. Vendrick will not be boss unless you attack him again after burnt bonfire ascetic.

Oh boy... then i need other tactics and builds to kill vendrick fast. I am looking at people that do tons of damage on vendrick on NG. I am on NG and im doing nowhere near that amount with 5 souls. Unless he was buffed in SoTFS.

Where can I get Vendrick's armor? I defeated Vendrick, but he didn´t give me the key for the door in the Shrine of Amana. So what do I have to do?

You dont need a key for the door, you need to have Vendrick dead and to be Human

Vendrick has pretty high resistances. I would suggest just going with a +10 STR of AGI weapon for the fight.

The best way to do this. Hands down. Is to hug his butt. Literally just get right up his ass and stay there. He can never hit you

with fume ultragreatsword I was doing 700-800 damage with flynn ring in one hit.I do not think he has been buffed anymore than in the vanilla version
