Any point in keeping Giant Souls?
Beat Vendrick, beat the dragon, have all five Giant Souls. About to move onto NG+. Any need for these souls or should I just spend them? I've beaten every boss in NG(And DLCs) including the "secret" Dark Covenent boss.

NG+, so you don't have to go through near as much difficulty.
Just spend them? Inflating your SM is bad. Just keep them.

I'd hold onto them so when you make it as far as Velstadt and Vendrick in NG+ you won't have to go hunting again. Plus, staying around 1.5 to 2.5 million soul memory is a good idea, assuming you spend time PVPing.

Only for PVP toon....and honestly if ya dont have at least one offline maxer toon your missing 1/2 the fun of the souls franchise imo =P
......ok...more like 1/8 of the fun, but you get the idea ya

dont limit yourself or listen to the meta-fundamentalist. the meta level is a lie. they spread rumors of how high lvl pvp will become cookie cutters when in fact its not, and so that everyone should stall level. well if you want to try out new gear you end up having to run the game again which is dumb. theres soul vessels or you could put 50 into everything so you have the freedom to try out anything. becoming limited means you're more susceptible to just searching up the current most op build and following it. cookie cutters, anyone?

when you got into NG+ it assumes you have kept some if not all of the giant souls IIRC so if you dont't wanna get miff'd when you go to that part again keep them

So, you don't get giant souls in NG+?

Also, just for clarification: I couldn't really care about PvP so... SM levels aren't really a concern for me.

UNless they've changed it since I last ran thru the Giant Memories, you still get giant souls in NG+ and beyond.

Spend them if you don't mind reaquirring them in NG+/don't intend to kill Vendrick again or keep them if you want to be able to more easily kill Vendrick in NG+ as soon as you kill Velstadt.

Even if you keep the ones from NG, you can still collect the ones in NG+; they will stack.

I generally keep the ones from NG just so I can kill Vendrick immediately in NG+ and beyond and spend the ones I reaquire in NG+ up.

I've got a full set of Havel's armour +5 already... I'm almost 5million SM at the moment.
