Fume Sword vs Possessed Armor Sword?
Now that i murdered Fume Knight and got his soul & sword, i got to thinking about respecs and which of the two blades would have an edge assuming both were infused with their respective elements and then buffed with Dark/Flame Weapon?

Both of them have good move sets (imo) but of course there's more to a weapon than that so once again, you who've used these things before, share your insights, would love to hear how these swords perform!

well that depends, generally speaking most people dont have a high resistance to dark(if i remember correctly the fume knight sword has dark yes?), on the other hand people usually have resistance to fire by default because of shields stats etc. i personally like the fume knight sword but if you really cant decide, 2 words, power stance :D

The possessed sword has terrible scaling so infusing it would be for the best. It also has a self-buff. I haven't used it personally, so I can't say anything about the moveset.

The Fume sword scales with dex and would be great for a dark build, there are better alternatives otherwise. Its the longest straight sword, and has a great moveset, but it also consumes slightly more stamina. I've also noticed the AR is a bit misleading since the actual damage done is slightly less.

Yeah, can't decide but also never power stanced anything so unsure how that works.

The dex scaling would be nigh useless (i think) since i'd only ever really have base stats required for the blades and no more than that.

Maybe i should give the Fume one a shot, got 6 soul vessels so incase i didn't much like, can always respec later.

Oh and bonus question, what about Ashen Warrior Sword, it seems to share move set with Fume so is that any good?

The Fume Knight Sword is nothing special. And the Possessed Armor Sword can be buffed with the special two hand left hand heavy attack. The Ashen Warrior Sword is nothing special either. It has bleed damage which is not really helpful. The best, as always, is the Longsword. Or the Sun Sword.

Possesed armour sword is fun on a pyro build , since his natural fire buff is actually better then flame weapon buff andding i belive 50 + 15 % compared to flame weapons 50 +5%

Fume sword is actually better than longsword. But sunsword is good.

I see.

Prolly give it a shot later, since i just respecced for Fume Sword after upgrading it (burned most of my dragon bones for it too) and the damage was pretty lackluster.

Sure, the move set is solid but otherwise, the thing is weaker than my Dark Ice rapier +5 and i expected lil more from a boss weapon. :/
