Dragon Knights in Dragon Shrine won't attack?
This is very strange. I just got to Dragon Shrine and the golden Dragon Knights just refuse to attack me. They even bowed before me. I searched through the web but no one seems to have experienced this. Is it a bug, or have I done something that stops them from attacking me? Not even in the official guides do they say something about this.

Now I feel bad for stealing the egg from them. They still didn't attack me tho. I guess the guys don't really care about anything.

They attack you only if you dont fight Drakekeepers on sight, if you try to cheese them or run past them they will aggro

i have been wondering about the loot from the knights. i have killed all the dragon knights even the once before the ancient dragon through my awesome skills "run like a chicken and pick on them one by one" and i havent gained a single dragon weapon. i did this two times one without being in the dragon covernent and gained absolutely nothing, and the second being in the covernant and gained 3 dragon scales randomly. does this mean the dragon weapons are disabled or just struck by lightning rare?

I'm a Sunbro, i've opened all the chests in the area, ran past the Giant Armours and killed the Dragon and never had any aggro from the Dragon Knights, There is one thats hostile at the top of the steps and even when you kill him he no longer spawns and still none of the others turn hostile

Old thread and a bit late but I've figured this out.

First, if you do not steal the Dragon egg then the dragon knight guards will not attack.

Second, there is 1 Dragon Knight you must fight- the targetable Dragon Knight that duel-wields 2 swords at the top of the staircase leading to the dragon. You must defeat him, regardless, and he automatically aggros towards you when you approach. If you go past that area without defeating this one guard, then all the dragon knight guards at the staircase area will aggro and try to kill you. You are allowed to run back down the stairs to heal, get time to buff, etc. You just can't go past the spot he was originally standing at without killing him.

it's part of sotfs they won't attack you nless you vilate the rules of their test to reach the dragon.

vilations: summone someone or an npc, run past a dragon keeper, not facing the dual weilding guy at the top of the stairs.

They still drop their weapons, but it's super-rare. I farmed them, for hours to get all their equibment.
