I think is kinda random...even though, in iron keep he appears and kill me almost 5 times in a row, getting to be a little anoy

uh well thx, now i know i wasnt invaded by the forlorn but by a player who names himself forlorn (i play the game in german so i was cofused by the different names)

I think he mainly invades in zones where you have already defeated a boss
