Black Armor Edition, ripped for my hands? Man I love supporting games.
For all of you who pre-ordered DS2 and received the Black Armor Edition, how do you feel about no longer having access to this dlc? I know I will never pre order a game from From Soft again.

Doesn't bother me too much. It was nice when I first started, but I always ALWAYS ended up throwing them in my item box. It's not like I'll never see it again though, I can just load up the Original and start a new character and it'll be there.

Technically though, the game always had those weapons in it if you didn't have the pre-order DLC from the same merchant that sells them in Scholar.

Honestly I'd loved if they spread the weapons around the starter areas instead of just throwing them on a merchant, that you can't even access until quite a bit aways into the game.

I think having to pay again for basically the same game after purchasing the season pass is also silly, and on top of that I don't get my pre-order content, I have always known you can get them later, but its still a terrible marketing tactic, I have lost faith in this developer.

Well it's technically a "new" game that you couldn't preorder, but I can see why you'd be peeved about it.

There's ton of new ennemy encounter, better graphics ... Just compare the 2 character faces next to each other, if you can't see a diffrence than maybe you need glasses !:s

the weapons were mostly terrible anyway and there was all of one good shield in the lot if you wanted an anti-hex shield but didn't want the rebel greatshield.

Indifferent.

These weapons vere plain ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ bad and ugly and I sold them all to gavlan. They are still purchasable in the game but It wouldn't bother me if they weren't.

The yellow sword and the mace were very good, the sword had a good moveset and the mace was good for heavy armor early on such as heides

the sword has the exact same moveset as the flame longsword you can get super early on.\, doesn't it?

which is also a significantly better weapon.

Mace is ok but you can get the club or proper mace equally early on, albeit not for free.

still some good weapons if you are going for the no bonfire run, or just run out of durability and need a backup

back to the concept, its not really about how good the weapons are its just how this expansion was released is what bothers me and I'm surprised it doesn't bother others

It's true it was nice, but you can just as easily find a Morning Star in Majula that'll get the job done vs Armored like the turtles. You can also literally buy a club from the Old Hag for 700 souls? That is very good too.

I'm more bothered that they didn't bother putting them as stuff you can find in the world honestly. Finding all that stuff on a Merchant is sort've lazy and having all that in your inventory right at the beginning as a deprived no less really kills immersion.
