Early game strenght heavy weapons. Where to get them.

So yeah, my first dark souls 2 run was a strenght build ... So now im going to do the same . Even tough ill later turn it into a quality build. For now i want to know some things.

Im looking for some good strenght weapons for my first run. Already heard where you can find the great club already. So going for that already. But are there any other good strenght weapons early on that you can guide me too. Bonus score if they are below the 20 weight : D

As you might have guessed my favorite goes out to the big smashy weapons. But anybody whit a good sugestion is more then welcome to share ^^

The most decent str weapon I've been able to pick up quickly would be the bastard sword in the forest of undead giants after you get the soldier key. It is/was in the area with all the turtles with the two on the roof. (i think)

well that word didn't got trough a filter but if its in the same place as before i think i know wich sword you mean. Would also make it decent when i later on pump by dex up. Anyways anybody else have any other opinions ?

True greatsword has nice wallop to it. Ill have to sacrofise a bit tough to fit it in my build whit that weight. : D

These and if you rush to kill Gavlan or buy stuff from him, he should drop/give Gyrm Greataxe.

You can now get the dragon tooth / talon early game since it was moved. I cant remember its exact location though; I think it was in no mans.

two good weapons in my experience are the giant stone axe ( last giant boss soul weapon). Also the Gyrm great hammer (use two handed, the one handed has piss poor range). i Enjoy both of these, and there also good weapons

Buy Fragrent Branch from the Old Hag, then head to Shaded woods and buy a greatsword from Vengarls Head

Literally can get get it after Last Giant.

Why do i se so many ghosts running around with huge swords? It's all about the maces and clubs for strength builds:)

I allways like to basscanon (fire zweihander + flame weapon min str+dex) :P
