Got hit with Ivory King Ultra Greatsword and recieved 900 damage 2 times in a row.
I was invaded in the dragon shrine with this guy using IUGS and as the tittle suggest, almost died in 2 hits. I've been hit with IUGS in pvp before and I know that it does not even close to giving 900 before the update. I'm guessing is this is a bug then? Can anyone explain? I do have the souls and upgrade to do the research myself but i won't. I'm currently using a build with a 1.7m SM cap using the Agape ring and I do not have a soul to spare.

Lol, with a Chaos Blade you can hit 900 anytime. This was not a bug.

afaik ivory king ugs has additional damage when you get hit with both the magic blue glow thing and the material of the weapon itself - that plus counter hit and maybe even engraved gauntlet proc could easily lead to over 900 dmg

Like I've said before, I have been hit and have never get that high of damage before. I don't think counter damage would be this huge

He was not using engraved gauntlet I'm afraid. And doing 900 damage for 2 times? I don't believe it. If in some rare chance he does hit with counter damage + engraved gauntlet (which he does not have) the second hit would not be able to do the same damage after.

Just go to the BoB Arena and you will see 900 damage in one hit is not that rare.

I got invaded with a 1.7m character. I don't think the limitless SM cap of BoB(you can meet maxed out character doing 900 damage, sure) can be compared to a normal invasion dude with 2k health and 900 damage of IUGS

But, hey, I may just be mistaken. I don't know what the damage for IUGS after the patch.

I see. That may be it then :( But over 900 damage is just OP. I guess this will be the new zwei for twinks then?

Thay uped the counter damage to 160 (thats the same counter as great lance's)

The counterattack damage, yes and the Black Steel katana as well. :)

I'm guessing it's the Counter, but not only that.
maybe 40/40 with RoB Flynn and Sorcery Clutch.
I myself regularly use the IKUGS for my PVP Sessions and I do hit around 900s on counters. Usually 700s to 780s on regular basis.

Also don't worry for IKUGS being a Twink Zwei. It requires 30 STR 30 DEX and 8 INT. I doubt anyone would level STR and DEX that High for a Twink Build. It's pretty much a balanced weapon.

You asking an OP Weapon, Chaos Blade, nuff said.
