Mouse attack delay
I played DSII on release and it had this annoying delay when attacking using the mouse, to see if you were going for a normal or strong attack, so i had to remap everything to keyboard and use the mouse only to look around and target. I don't remember but even the normal DS keys setup had something so i didn't use that, only keyboard. I was able to complete the game anyway so no problem on that.

I was wondering if they ever fixed or modified this annoying delay or if playing with the same DS keys configuration is now possible.

There's an option for that now? Thanks for the info.

You need to disable double-clicking, but it resets after you turn off the game. The option will be the same but you will still get a delay, every time you turn on the game turn the option off and back on again to make it work or your problem will persist :)

I use the light attack on mouse, heavy at kb.

Worked for me in DS3 and DSR too.

Thank you so much! I thought I wouldn't be able to play the game because of this.

i'm still praying for a DS2 remaster that fixes all the nonsense and gives it better sound effects

*11 years. Same issue with vanilla DS2.

So they've released multiple versions with the same technical problems. :bbtcat:
