Most likely it's entirely on the Cloud, since it prevents save file manipulation.

Bye cheaters! Or learn to use CE.
i wont cheat i want to copy my toon coz i dont want to creat it again if i want to try another build low sm build
C:\Users\{username}\AppData\Roaming\DarkSoulsII\HUEGNUMBERS\
Where DS2SOFSXXXX.sl2 are your SOTFS saves.
С\users\username\appdata(hidden folder)\roaming\Dark soulsII\......-? i have nothing there. DS2 folder is empty, but i have ti toons already
Okay, here's the deal. Easiest way to find it is %appdata% in the search bar that appears after you activate your windows button. Windows 8 people, don't be idiotsm you can find it too. This will likely open your appdata/Roaming folder.
There will be a folder here called 'DarkSoulsII', inside said folder there may be a few files, 'GraphicsConfig.xml' if you have dark souls II, and GraphicsConfig_SOFS.xml if you have Scholar Of the First Sin. There will be a folder that is a long serries of numbers, this coresponds to your steam id. in the folder, you will have 'DARKSII0000.sl2' if you have dark souls II, which is your combined save file, and 'DS2SOFS0000.sl2' if you have scholar of the first sin.

If you intend to copy or save manipulate AND have either SOFS of just plain dark souls II running, you will need to be on the start screen before pushing start, either after just booting the game, or quitting from one. After this screen, the game checks the data, and loads it; before this screen, the game saves, so you are absolutely safe here.

Alternatively, you may exit the game every time you want to save manipulate, but DO NOT manipulate when in game. BAD THINGS.

Happy save scumming!
The save is actualy in the dark souls 2 folder if you have dark souls 2 and sotfs instaled.
You must change your folder options to show hiden files and folders like so--> http://i.imgur.com/Oll27b1.png

Then you can find your save here --> http://i.imgur.com/1ANNwEi.png

Actualy, if you type %appdata% like I posted above, you DO NOT need to show hidden files/folders.

Then why are you hideing extensions for known file types, hmm? If you turn it off, you can actually change extension types, instead of just seeing them in the type collumn.

... I've never seen that. Few questions: are you the administrative master account for the computer you are useing? Have you actually run the game and had it connect to the internet yet, created one character and exited? If yes to both, I'm out of ideas, sorry.
