Hidden weapon
Hi,

A while ago, a friend a I made "co-op" characters so we could 100% the game on PC. At the time I had little time off so when we got to the bell keep covenant, instead of wasting the little time we had to hangout trying to hunt invaders we kept going. Now we're back to it a couple years later and, as I'm sure you guessed, at 4 millions + soul memory, I ain't getting no summons.

I was wondering if there was another way that isn't on the wiki to get the spell or if i'm screwed and need to make a new, more level appropriate, character JUST to get that spell? I know this question may seem dumb, but I figured I'd ask just in case so that I won't need to make another character and move on to Dark Souls 3 once I've reached NG+2 .

I regret to inform you that the only way to get Hidden Weapon is to reach rank 2 with the Bell Keepers, which involves farming up 30 covenant points (which you basically have to track yourself as it isn't displayed anywhere).

Even at higher Soul Memory tiers you can technically still get the odd match if you're loitering around waiting to invade trespassers, but you're more likely to get the bulk of your points from farming the Mad Warrior, who is one specific red phantom enemy that shows up hiding 'round a corner in Belfry Sol.

The Mad Warrior is guaranteed to add one covenant point upon getting killed, and will never despawn unlike most enemies (since you can't encounter him without being in the Bell Keepers covenant) — the main catch being, though, that when you reset the area by sitting down at the bonfire, he only has a slim chance of actually spawning.
On the semi-bright side, you can still keep the covenant ring on to try and catch the odd PVP straggler while you're doing this farm, in the hopes of grabbing a couple extra points on the side.

Good luck!

If you have two monitors or play on small window you can actually "see" when the warrior spawns, as the game will have a little more memory usage. Therefore, keep your task manager on and observe how much memory usage the game does with him spawning and how much without. All you have to do after is just rest at the bonfire. When the memory usage is a bit higher he is most probably there. This will save you from going up and down the ladder and check the area after every reset.
I think ppl use the Unveil spell to determine if the Mad Warrior spawned or not.
It is very tedious to farm in any case.

So get the unveil spell check youtube how to tell from spell when he spawned and kill him 30 times......

Yes, they do. They first have to despawn a few of the area mobs in order to make it work, I believe.
Thanks guys! I was not aware of the Mad Warrior method! I shall be doing that! :)
