A few questions about pvp

Hi. What level should I have and what soul memory range to fight a lot of pvp outside the arena? Right now I'm level 150, I often meet people on the bridge and I don't know if I should increase it.
Should I have Agape Ring equipped during PvP fights to avoid increasing soul memory too much?

SL doesn't matter that much. Usually SM should be above 1M. You can find SM ranges on wiki. Game is dead tho, don't expect much of a traffic.

And yes, if You plan to keep character for a longer time, wear Agape Ring.

Your soul level is important, not your normal level. For example, if you have 2 million souls level but your level is 1, you will be matched with 2 million souls level players.. Use the agape ring in cases of soul loss.

Hit level 200, then put on Agape Ring for invasions. If you don't want to use Agape Ring, make a save backup and if your SM gets too high, reload the original save. Keep in mind, game is very low player-base, so meeting "a lot of people" may not be on the cards right now.

I know that the game searches for opponents according to soul memory, I just read somewhere that people get really irritated if you use a very high level character, but maybe that only applied to the arena.

If you're getting good activity where you are at, I'd equip Agape Ring to stay there. When you pass the SM threshold for the next tier there's no going back without save manipulation (which people say has a chance to get you banned if the same character 'goes back' a tier).

It sucks to lose a ring slot, since I like to use Ring of the Living as well (so effectively I have only 2 'useable' ring slots), but what usually matters is how you play, a bit of stat bonus won't change that, so just play better #4head

SL150 is a pretty fair level though, I think most people will be min-maxing if you haven't, so if you have spare souls to increase it you may as well, or spend it on upgrading your favourite armour/weapons if you haven't already.

The old meta was always between 150 and 200. If people get irritated, well, that's on them! lol
