Bonfire Ascetic Majula Chest

If i bonfire ascetic majula before i open the metal chest will the contents of the majula mansion chest change to the weapons in this edition of the game?

What do you mean? It doesn't matter if you open the chest or not... once you bump the area to NG+ then the area will have NG+ content ( chests respawn, etc. ). Either way, I have a feeling you're mixing apples and oranges... the Majula chest *could* contain special items DURING some online event. It's not about NG+ or NG++ ... if they happen to activate some online event then you *might* find some new stuff in the chest, else not.

If you are talking about the chest in the basement, I'm pretty sure the chest only ever contains a soul vessel in SotFS. Asceticing does not respawn the contents either. It only respawns with a new journey to the next NG.

If you mean the wooden chest upstairs, it should restock/upgrade when you ascetic (not sure of the contents but they weren't memorable).

If you are after the weapon reskins, they haven't become available (and may never be) in SotFS. They were event items in the base game as promos for when the DLCs and SotFS came out.
