Which Wiki is Better?
I used to use wikidot back when I played DS2 a lot bc that seemed best, but I've used the Elden Ring wiki on Fextralife a lot recently which seems to be pretty good.

I also like being able to read comments, but that's not as important as accuracy/thoroughness and I can just use wikidot and then just read comments on fextralife.

I know there's some controversies surrounding fextralife. I DON'T CARE. And neither do you. You're using products made from slave labor so you certainly don't care about ethically sourced wiki information.

Wikidot - accurate number tables.
Fextralife - sometimes good, sometimes bad, mostly useful for ds2. Pleasing interface(instead of list, its images+titles), useful comments and most weapons has video showing the moveset.
Fandom - almost abandoned, but has some specific information on different language versions - like weird mistake in russian translation in Forlorn armor, where he was supposedly Aldia son that he experimented on.
Reddit - nerd talk, numbers in details, but mostly dum-dums and noobs posts.
Steam - rare tech problems, coop questions/requests, clown rewards farming.

I just use a search engine if I can't find what I'm looking for on either. There's another one I usually find that seems to have even more information, at least on spell duration/Int, that I can't remember the name of.

I use fextra in general, that's only because it seems easier to navigate and, similar to what you said, there's some useful information in the comments.

i suppose wikidot is the better one just because it's more accurate. personally i like both; i use wikidot for the more accurate information, and fextralife for the item tips and user comments.
They are both usually fine, but Wikidot generally has higher quality information, in my experience. Fextralife articles are often more wordy, but that wordiness rarely translates to the information being more helpful; it usually just obfuscates the couple of details you actually need off the article.

Fextra has some issues here and there, but the comments section usually corrects the bad info. Then you have the video guides / etc..

Prefer it to the wikidot, mainly for the ease of use. The UX is just better. The misinformation is correctable (you can fix them, it's a wiki).
Thanks for all the comments. I just realized one thing I like about Fextralife. With the tables of weapons and spells you can sort by different criteria. So I can sort shields by stability or strength requirement, for example. But yeah, there's some inaccurate stats on fextralife (I assume wikidot isn't perfect either)
