Not necessarily faster, but if you play offline and you're in the Bell Keepers covenant, there's a chance of the Mad Warrior NPC spawning in Belfry Sol. He'll respawn indefinitely. Killing him counts towards advancing your rank.

need to use the ascetic or there is an alleatory chance?

You don't need to ascetic. He doesn't always spawn, so if you go up there and he's not there, just head back down and rest at the bonfire to reset it. His spawn rate is allegedly higher if the bonfire has a higher intensity, but I can't say that for certain.

hey man, maybe it can help you... u dont need to be at the bell's area, u can just stand still at the bonfire before it an u will keep invading... in fact, u can invade in any area of the lost bastil... it will save you some time because u will not be invaded by any other players in covenant... hope help you ;)~

Pro Tip: Use task manager and check dark souls 2's used up RAM. Sit at the bonfire, then stand up. Check the used memory. Sit down again and stand up, check the RAM once it's on a stable amount, if it increased the warrior spawned, if not sit down again.

I don't think you even need to stand up to check it. If you watch the memory and see a small bump in it's use while sitting at the bonfire and then stand up; you should get the mad warrior to spawn about 95% of the time.

even without this, still the fastest method to get the hidden weapon spell; another way is to use the unveil miracle after clearing the area surrounding the bonfire after smelter demon, as well as the path to the next area. Just not necessary, but you'd still want to clear the enemies off of belfry sol before really starting on the mad warrior farm.

You can use the Unveil miracle to check if Mad Warrior spawned after sitting at the bonfire but you first need to despawn all other enemies in range.
