DS4 to Xinput wrapper and Windows 10

The transition to windows 10 appears to have destroyed my ability to play Dark Souls and Dark Souls 2 because Ds4 to Xinput wrapper no longer works and I refuse to play with those ♥♥♥♥♥♥ keyboard and mouse controlls. Is anyone else having this problem and can anyone offer a solution?

P.S. I tried this solution and, to anyone who may read this, it is kind of a last resort as it can cause all sorts of problems; I would only reccomend trying it if you really need to use a DS4. I would also reccomend that you have a very firm grasp of how to navigate windows 10 as it can prove a challenge to reverse the effects of this solution due to the search utility no longer functioning.

I have solution!

I used SCP Server, but THAT method didn't work with.

Use DS4Windows program

1. Make sure DS4Windows is running and 'Hide DS4 Controller' option is enabled.
   
2. Kill the explorer.exe process.
   
3. Connect controller.
   
4. Run explorer.exe
   
5. Profit.
   
   Use this batch file to make it easy:
   

   @echo off
   taskkill /IM explorer.exe /f
   echo Press any key after connecting your controller.
   pause
   start explorer.exe

   If there's issues, 'Run as Admin' for both DS4Windows and the batch file.

For me running ScPserver while launching better ds3 tool, maybe it works with ds4 too.
