Sin level and removing it. (SotFS)
I don't invade, but I killed both Pate/Creighton since they annoy me.
Also, there is no other way to get Soothing Sunlight apart from killing Lindelt.
Targray's Weapon is only obtainable by killing him.

The point is I ended up with some sin between 0-9 which I wouldn't know if not for Lost Sinner's Sword.

Is the 'Special Pardon' from Cromwell still there in Scholar of the First Sin? Does it reset when going onto NG+?

If no is the answer to the above, is there anyway to 'summon' arbiters? Like getting invaded by a red in Belfrey, then let the red get invaded by a blue..... And die to the Blue or something...... Does this work?

I read somewhere you just need to die with a Blue in your world, regardless of who lands the killing blow, even falling to death counts.

Thanks for any idea/ experience/ help.

Special Pardon is once for the character for all ng cycle. That means once used you will not get a separate pardon in ng+.
Killing lindith only increases sin by 1. And you do not need to kill creigton. Just do 1 backstab and sit back until the other kills him and no sin will be added.

I see, guess I'll do all the killing I need before I use the one Pardon.

You still get the sin.

Also I think it's impossible to loose sins when under 9 sins. And you can't be invaded by blues unless having at least 10 sins.

It kind of bugs me that you can't get everything without sinning. I guess that's what this game is trying to say though.

So the Lost Sinner's Sword will always have some AR deducted I guess. Too bad, that's on average 15 AR reduced per sin.

I hear deleting your character and starting over resets any sin you may have accumulated.

But seriously, I didn't know Cromwell was a once/NG cycle thing! Gotta keep that in mind! Though, after killing a couple NPCs I never get the "sinner" label. Only after about 10-20 red invasions do I get that honor!

if you need that weapon, i can give you it.
killing Licia while invading doesnt counts as a sin as i heard.

Thats your fault. you earned that amount of sin.

Crushed eye orb.

Unless you're achievement hunting, it's not even that great. It's on par with the regular halberd, has an overall higher stat requirement, and it requires valuable twinkling titanite.

Sin that you earned. Common sense would have told you that you were earning it.

@Nolo

You don't get Soothing Sunlight by straight out killing Lindelt. You get the miracle by using the Crushed Eye Orb and killing her, much like invading with a red eye orb. Therefore you get 1 point of sin.

I wasn't complaining, I simply made those decisions to acquire those sin points. And I'm asking if you could remove them.

you dont get sin doing that.

Sin only count when you have 10 sin points. If you do not like that you just have to wait for a arbiter and let them kill you or jump down from a cliff to lower it.

The lost sinner sword does lose AR, but it's decrease in actual damage is neglible. As far as I've noticed, at least.
