Need help with Bleed build for PvP
Ok, so I've been trying to invade and fight in arena with my current build:

SL 120~
1.6m SM
DEX-build
Royal Swordsman set (because I like it) and Shadow Gauntlets.
Dual-wield +10 Falcions and +10 Bleed Flamberge.
Ring of Blades +2, Chl Ring +2, Crest of Blood and Stone Ring.
Also using Lacerating Knives.

Needless to say, I fail miserably. The damage is way too low, especially vs armored players and bleed build-up is just slow, even though wiki says that flamberge has the highest bleed damage\build-up ingame.

Any help? Or should I just give up and use "normal" weapons for PvP?

bandit daggers, claws, the forlorn weapons, notched whips and the ashen warrior sword irc are very good bleed weapons

I tried claws in standart DS2 and they were pretty bad. Did they buff/change them in Scholar?

I'd love to help you out on your bleed build. We can summon each other aswell (my SM is around 1.76 million).

So here's the cheese:

I'm thinking if you put bleed onto the falchions and use a normal flamberge as your main, you can probably have a viable damage output as well as pushing bleed with the falchions.

Also, what is your equip load? Is your armor fully upgraded? How high is your dex?

My build is a lvl 135 quality build so i'm not to far ahead of you.

That would be great.

I tried infusing falcions with Bleed but it's not much of a diffrence, to be honest.

No, my armor is not fully upgraded because I lack them chunks. I also leveled up a bit to use piromancy, but that's not really important. My SL is around 130+ now.

nice build with quite low sm. How do you do on the bridge? My guess is much better. Guys in the arena may have 10 mill sm for all you know.

I want to see how much bleed you're doing to an opponent. I'll be the sandbag :P

AFAIK arena matchmaking is done by matching SL, not SM.

Ashen Warrior Sword, power stance, infuse them with bleed. You will bleed most people in 2-3 shots. Make sure you have another weapon to switch to so you don't have to rely on low damage bleed weapons. Bleed them, then switch weapons while they are slowed down, that's my strategy.

i've had good results with a bleed build revolving around the manikin sabre, that weapons has pretty decent built-in bleed build-up for a curved sword and when infused with bleed + CoB and shadow gauntlets bonuses it can be pretty nasty at both dealing damage and building bleed for even more bursts of damage.
