What is in the treasure chest in the spider cave in Brightstone Cave?
This is just before the Prowling Magus + Congregation boss. My summoned help destroyed the chest and I only got rubbish. I'd like to know what I missed... from what I can Google, it's just some bolts? Or was that DS2, and SotFS has something else in it?

the chest is a trap I think you will get some worthless things.

You will only get 20 heavy bolts from the chest, and it will also aggro every single spider in the room you're in aswell as the previous one. Note that the spiders do not stop being aggroed after you rest at a bonfire, so people who know what the chest does just leave it be.
