Dragon Scales?

So I'm not much for PvP, god awful at it actually. Generally the only time I win a fight is if an invader accidently rolls off the map. But the Dragon Armor from the covenent looks really awesome.

Any ways to farm Dragon Scales without PvP?

You can farm imperfects (dragon sanctum) or dragon warriors (dragon shrine). Drop rate is quite low though.

Only very rarely, considering the Dragon covenant is a PvP covenant.

I collecting hundreds of scales when I was still in the red covenant, swapped to the dragon covenant, fully levelled through it with the scales I collected, then swapped straight back again.

How low are we talking? I had thought I had read that somewhere too. Killed off 4 dragon warriors until despawned. All I got was 1 shield drop.

Just fight Dragonbros, even if you lose most of the time, it'll be more fun than farming NPCs. Besides, you'll get better at PvP.

(if you are good at pve, go grab the loyce greatsword and get good with it, destroys almost anyone used properly)

A total of 2 dragon scales in approx 150 kills on the black dragons in Dragon Shrine, but it's an option.

It takes time to get good, but it's very rewarding. PvP is good fun.

Everything destroys anything when used properly.

Another option is farming the dragon scale that it's find after guardian dragon in Aldia's Keep.
You only need to kill guardian dragon 30 times.

But I recommned that you join the covenant and get the scales in PvP, it's more fun and you will improve your abilities.

People still don't encounter Ultra Greatswords much, so playing unlocked you can still bait many attacks by turning around. Personal favourite is the zweihander R2 which can spin at least 180 degrees to land somebody on their rump.

Finding dragon summons is proving scarce even on iron bridge. Even then I'm constantly getting 1 or 2 hit koed.
