Great heal excerpt vs Great heal confirmation
Anyone can confirm the casting times of both with A LOT of Attunement and Faith (50, maybe 60), the 4 pieces of equip and the +2 ring? (and who knows what more). I have all of that except the parameters, and i see literally no difference... Excerpt heals 10% more and the starting can be casted while walking, but the cast time are THE SAME.

Time before starting the heal: 2.5 seconds
Time healing: 1 second. Until: 3.5 sec
Time the animation stops and you can roll: 4.5 seconds

Maybe it got patched or something, but the reason to pick excerpt is very low... the amount of distance you walk while casting isnt really a thing cause you wont use that while in combat, and you walk a very litttle distance, and the extra heal... is nice, but meh.

Tested with 20 ATT and 35 Faith.

PD: The data i gave was WITHOUT the +2 ring and the equipment .With everything on, the new data is:
2 seconds
3 seconds (estimated)
4 seconds
In both spells, it heals and allows to roll 0.5 seconds before, still not a difference

Your missing the point of excerpt. Its made for people NOT interested in bulking out the faith stat. Just a strong quick heal that only needs one attun slot, and 14 faith.

In my case i bumped faith to 35 to use Resplendent life, so i can get a decent heal while in combat, cause u dont have time to use heals in combat...
Anyway it seems its only worth if you have a lot of attunement, if not it's a waste and better save the slots to Great heal, more uses and heals allies
But you should be able to reduce the casting time even more, everyone talked about being the fastest heal, but i tested and it's 100% the same duration...

OK, I went to the fextralife website and read their discription. It says Exceprt is supposedly a bit quicker. I would be unsurprised if this wasn't true. That website is kindof out of date, not that it was ever super accurate to begin with.

I would point out that the ingame description says that excerpt and great heal are identical, except with excerpt you only get the one cast.

Nope, i confirm that excerpt heals like a 10% more, no matter the faith. Tried both at 28 and 35, in the second case both healed more, but always excerpt like a 10%. But in both cases, the three times i said were exactly in both spells, reduced all of them by 0.5 seconds after wearin the FULL reduction set and ring. We'll have to wait someone with MAAAAAAX int and faith to confirm it. Max int helps a lot too, and can be nice to try

I visit wikidot, i think it's the most accurate and completed, and i like more, i dont know if im wrong xD I even think it's the official site... Demon's Souls box from PS3 told about wikidot as a wikia, and when u enter the forums in the wikidot from ANY dark souls, it leads to a demons souls forum that has sections about the three games, so i think its the official xD
