Camera keeps spinning

So i just bought dark souls 2 and tried to play it with my ps4 controller. whenever i get into the game the camera keeps spinning, when i plug the controller out it works fine. i tried different programs for my controller but they all give me the same problem. I really want to play this

I believe you need to calibrate your controller (via control panel or driver software).

use the ds4_tool found on the pcsx2 forums: http://forums.pcsx2.net/Thread-DS4-To-XInput-Wrapper

make sure to have an xbox controller driver installed, and make sure to check the box in the ds4tool panel that says 'hide ds4 controller"

i am not sure if this works on win10, but it should work on win7 and 8.

Basically have your controller app (DS4 in my case) running when you launch the game. Load your character. Unplug your controller for a while (5-10 seconds) then plug it back in. That ought to fix it.
