Servers still unstable in 2025? Constant crashes and unavailability

So, I decided to 100% the Dark Souls trilogy. But my god, the online service is the worst.
Servers keep crashing, it's difficult to connect to them at the start. Is anybody else suffering from this?

Servers today are just not working...

Looked all over the forums and not a single mention of this issue on the first few pages. It's probably on your end.

nope same problem here, was going to coop with a friend but they also cant connect today.

Paradox's sarcasm is too subtle, I see. :)

There are many, many complains about this situation. I usually try to login 4-5 times and if it doesn't work I go offline and try again after a while. Being offline will get you invaders which don't come if you are online, but of course, it sucks if you want to coop or invade (with) other players.

considering at the time of me loading this up, this was the only active post relating to the down error, that's not a very good sarcasm.
