Shrine of amana door locked
Hollow or Human, its still locked (above 4th bonfire). Rescued chick from embeded. Spoke to milfanito and chick at start of the level. I have 5 giant souls and vendricks ring, I have also killed vendrick to and the door is still locked? May I say wtf is wrong here?

Strange, as far as I know, you only need to be hollowed to open that door.

Well, you just need to be hollow and have "spoken" to the 2nd milfanito near the boss fog - then you can open the door
Also, those silly pyromancers are so damn OP, I triggered 2 by accident and they kicked my a$$ pretty hard.

Unless they have changed it for Scholar, you also cannot have any human effigies in your inventory or bottomless box.

that's for the altar - you can open the door if you carry effigies

No, if you haven't interacted with the milfanito before the boss fog you messed it up I think. But it's nothing really important there, only the Manslayer. And you can become human if you have not a signle effigy left.

She's still there? I read that she disappears after you defeated the boss - well, I always interacted with her before killing the boss anyways, so it wasn't my own knowledge.

Yeah i missed her while i was rushing the game and then i wanted the sword so i went back and talked to her died and went in :D
