Such a helpful post, mocking someone because they are not blessed with a comparable machine such as yours.
Original Poster :
You seem to not meet the specified requirements for the game, so finding a fix for a better frame-rate may be a bit difficult. I'd suggest looking around online for tweaks that can be done for the game to help improve your experience, though your visual quality may suffer.
Could you post your entire specs?
I don't mind graphics taking a hit, but as I mentioned in my original post something screwy happens if I lower the resolution below 1152x648. I was hoping there'd be a way to do it with the in-game settings so that I could increase the settings when I wanted to take a screenshot.
I know that it's at least possible somehow with the old version because I've watched speedruns where the numbers for damage on enemies was much larger than normal and the person said it was due to them lowering resolution
So it's a bit complicated and janky, but I have to add a custom resolution through Nvidia Control Panel. This lets my PC have the same resolution as the game. If you do this then the game should be playable at most if not all resolutions. However, if you have a modern PC there's no reason for any of this ^_^
I did notice that some of the lower widescreen aspect ratios are available with windowed mode so I might look into some sort of bordless fullscreen if the Radeon control panel doesn't provide a solution.
Another option I've considered is playing on my monitor which is standard aspect ratio, but I play on my TV because I get letterboxing even if I set the aspect ratio to something like 800x600 so I'd need a mod to get it to fit the screen.
