SotFS does not include the original DS2, it's its own game.

Cannot understand that clearly. Then why they offer upgradbility in its store? It says following:

(Upgrade to DARK SOULS II: Scholar of the First Sin)

People who own the original DS2 can get SotFS cheaper. That's what the upgrade means.

I have a clarification question as well.

There's "Buy DARK SOULS™ II: Scholar of the First Sin" and

"Buy Upgrade to DARK SOULS II: Scholar of the First Sin"

If I buy the first one, does this mean it includes the base game plus the 3 DLCs?

Or is it an all-3 DLC pack without the base game?

DarkSouls II: SOTFS includes the base game (with the modifications/improvements) and the DLC areas

All 3 dlc's are included in the Scholar of the First Sin version. If you already have Dark souls 2 normal edition then buying the "upgrade"will not change your version to the new. It will simply add the new version as a seperate game.
