Best NG++ and up builds.
I've never actually took a single character past NG+. What are some good builds for doing so?

One of my buddies recommended just going 30 in every stat and infusing all my weapons with mundane, how well does that work?

Mundane? no.
You want to be hardcore? 99 points on health 99 points on stamina 99 points on agility and broken swords.

I keep my build the same since it's what I'm comfortable using but I use pyromancy somewhat more because of the great chaos fireball you get from chancellor wellager in NG++ (it's glorious). Try out different builds, spend some soul vessels. NG+ and beyond doesn't change all that much.

Well tbh the "best build" going by how far it's got me at the SM I'm at is my "Rolls Loyce" build. 150sl, 1.8m sm, uses powerstanced magic ice rapiers, ivory king ugs, both loyce swords and bone fists. Has pieces of charred loyce, regular loyce, northwarder and rampart golem armor I change out.

Oh, and the actual reason I have gone so far into ng cycles... the curved nil sword. So far this setup has got me to ng+++++ without having to respec. It's beginning to get challenging now, will be interesting to see how the build fares in another couple of cycles' time...

Laughed at "Rolls Loyce".

Yeah, I've been thinking about the Nil Greatsword, perhaps doing a Faith / Pyro with curved greatswords. Light armor, boost ADP / ATT for that sweet sweet agility, wield Faith for heals and a few support buffs, Pyro for damage.

Yea infused curved gs's are really powerful, esp when buffed. Have one lightning and one fire infused or something, to counter different bosses.

I have taken my "strength" fire, and "strength" lightning, and "strength" dark buillds to NG+++++ with relative ease. Use whatever the biggest whacking stick/weapon that I could equip and still normal roll. Dragon Tooth works very well as does Kings Ultra Great Sword. Typically used lighter armor like Wanderers set and Kings Shield.

A 50/50 quality with curved dragon and ivory king wrecks ♥♥♥♥.
Also, the crypt blacksword and the chime hammer dish out some serious damage. Dual lost sinners dark infused oneshot most mobs on ng+3 aswell.

As said, the bigger your stick the better it is. Exception is only the smelter hammer i guess

I've actually never tried out the Chime Hammer, I probably should. I've used the Ivory King UGS before, it's a good weapon, but really boring to be honest.

So far I've been pretty much putting 20 in every stat except INT and END. Carrying Murakumo with a Pyro flame and a Chime for heals. Working out so far, superparries4lyfe. I think I'm gonna use Murakumo for the first couple of NGs and respec for Nil around NG+4.
