I know there are tons of references between all the Blizzard-games, but I'm sure From Soft didn't make any other references except Berserk.
Maybe it could be a reference to a dark version of Tyrael, which I guess that is what Malthael is, but Darklurker doesn't really look like that (Tyrael's most distinctive feature being his wings and Darklurker having more typical angel wings). He's really a kinda generic looking "dark angel" archetype imo.
I think drawing connections to Diablo just because of this fact is kinda exaggerated.

To be honest it is just grasping for straws. I have not seen any real refrences to Berserk in Dark Souls. You need to remember that Dark Souls isn't a JRPG, its a western RPG made in Japan. Ofc Berserk and Dark Souls are going to have things that look similar because they draw water from the same source, and the concept of some things are fairly well established. If I say "bull/goat demon" to you do you think of some kind of huge minotaur with big horns? Well just because Dark Souls have the Taurus Demon and Capra Demon and Berserk have something like it doesn't mean Dark Souls reference Berserk. Its actually that both are refrences to the Minotaur story from ancient greece which means they are not referencing each other.
EDIT: I saw the video. 1/2 pretty much ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, but some things could be true. I still think there are Berserk references.
Such as?
But anyways, you've another opinion and I'm fine with that, just don't try to persuade me of it.
Dark Souls II came out before Reaper of Souls,
Yeah some of those things in the video like the Catarina armor and bonewheels may be references, but there's also a lot of common fantasy tropes or mythological archetypes that are just pretty standard stuff. Minotaurs, dragons, and goat demons are nothing unique. A lot of fantasy armor is going to look like a lot of other fantasy armors. I believe Miyasaki said he was heavily influened by western fantasy and frankly a lot of the enemies in these games are not very unique to these games or that anime. Zombies and dragons aren't exactly fresh concepts.
And back to the Darklurker, hooded angels aren't exactly rare specimens either. Run a google search for that and you'll find quite a lot of results from quite a few time periods. Darklurker's most distinctive feature is really probably his double set of arms which makes him a bit more unique, but that's also nothing that hasn't been seen before. Take a look at Hindu mythology and you'll find no shortage of things will mutliple sets of arms.
