Is the Tseldora set worth farming for?
So the Tseldora set is cool because it increases the amount of souls you get. Spiders are the easiest enemies to farm, but Wikia says that each piece only drops from spiders at a 1% rate. So would this be worth it?

If u dont want boss armor u can kill maughlin the armor npc in majula. He drops the full set.

I know. I want to keep him, though. I MIGHT consider killing him just before NG+, when I'm absolutely certain I'm done with New Game. Is there anyone I absolutely have to murder to get their stuff?

To my knowledge actually no, all armor sets npcs are wearing(that can be obtained) can be gifted via quest requirements or so forth. But the Tseldora armor can only be farmed from spider undead dudes or dropped from him, honestly you can pray to his grave whenever you happen to get a boss armor you'd be intersted in. It takes some time to get it to spawn and costs 5k souls to summon him, but you don't use him that often really in most cases.

The only part of the set worth farming for are the pants. There are better options (higher +souls percentage) in the other slots. Head: Warlock(same 2.5% but also +2 int and more armor/resists), Chest: Nahr Alma(10%), Hands: Jester's Gloves(10%)

Ah well. I just found out that the pieces probably never drop frmo spiders, but they drop quite frequently from manspiders. I've cleared out Tseldora, but I was able to join the Champs, which would bring back 3 manspiders as long as I was in the covenant. And I got the robe and pants from just 3 runs. I already have the gloves and I've got the Symbol of Avarice, so that should be all I need, until I decide to kill that PvP midget for better soul farming gear.
