What's a good Medium armor for the mid to late game to updrage?
I used Drangleic but it's ugly, imho. I found Drakeblood set and it looks badass, but I'm wondering if it's worth of upgrading. I heard that Alva and Elite knight sets are good too..

I'm using Great Club +10 w/ Lightning Infusion, so I want to have a fast stamina regen and roll.

Alva's is nice.
Knight and Elite Knight are also pretty decent.

Alva and Aurous are pretty good. Faraam is good as well but its more a heavy armor.

Elite Knight master race.

For mid-weight though, Alva and Aurous are pretty d@mn good for their weight.

Auros is a pain to get though, isn't it?

Absolutely nothing, to be honest. Even heavier armors provide barely noticeable protection and absolutely unnoticeable poise, while slowing you down and forcing you to spend tons of souls on VIT which you could spend on your DPS. Just forget armors, unless you're going for fashion souls, being naked will be barely different in terms of getting damage, while your movement speed and stamina regeneration speed will be very much better.

Alva, Knight, Elite Knight, and Alonne's armor are pretty decent "medium" armors. Though those are what I would really consider heavy, I personally wouldn't go too much above that. I wouldn't necessarily go naked as Dusk suggests though, as there are plenty of light armors that offer at least some stats. All depends on how heavy your weapons are and how much Vit you want, or don't want, I guess.

Poise only matters when you're attacking. I like swinging my great hammer / UGS and not getting interrupted. :^)

I forgot to mention that I'm doing mainly PvE. Which one do you recommend to upgrade? Elite knight, Drakeblood or Alva's? I like the look of all of them, but I want to know what set is the best +10?

Whichever one you like the look of best, or mix and match even. Defense isn't ALL that much, and an extra 20 - 50 points isn't going to make that much of a difference in the long run when talking about armor defense.

Yeah man, this is Fashion Souls. A few defense stats is usually not going to make a significant difference. If a boss 2 shots you he's not all of a sudden take 5 hits to kill you because you got 30 more defense. There would be break points between the 2 shot or 3 shot, of course, but you're not really going to sit there calculating breakpoints and changing your gear/build for every boss, are ya?
