Warped Sword on off-hand dual wielding?
So the only reason I don't use this weapon is because it's OP as heck on the right hand whether it be the reversed swings or the two handed mode with the fast+high counter damage. However I do love the look of the weapon so I want to fit it in my build. I'm thinking of using it as an off-hand dual wield weapon(meaning it'll lose all the strong points that makes it what it is), would you guys still consider this an OP weapon?

Yes I care if other players feel cheated in some way in PvP(unless they were just absolutely outplayed).

*Edit* It is fully power stanced(left handed warped sword) and I don't use buffs. So it is literally no different from a falchion aside from 5~10 damage difference)

Monastery Scimitar has better parry frames than other Curved Swords due to a new patch if you look for that. For powerstancing you should pick the highest damaging one, I think it's the Warped Sword. And no, it's just infused+buffed a monster. Otherwise it's more like any other Curved Sword, the damage is comparable.

The warped sword can be op if you do the binoclar trick, unlimited hits.. But you can do it with any weapon, UGS especially.. I dont see people often complain of that sword, its all ice rapiers and katanas. Still more interesting than all of those, I really dont see warped swords very often. But I know the power stance with it is really good.

By dual wielding, I should probably say power stanced because that's what I meant lol. I don't use buffs either.

If you think about it, it loses all traits if it's in dual wield mode, it'll be just like any other one handed sword on the left hand other than the look change. Warped sword has like 5~10 ish damage over a regular falchion, I'd hardly call that overpowered in terms of damage. Warped sword is literally known for its counter damage and reversed swings.

I'm not parrying with this weapon at all, it's strictly for powerstance attacks(with it being on my left hand which loses all of its moveset including powerstance since it's left hand).

Who the ♥♥♥♥ uses this silly trick? I never encountered anyone using it. It's just as silly as changing special attack's direction during the swing-animation.

You should consider changing the stance sometimes during the duel. IMO the Curved Swords' powerstance moveset is quite easy to parry. You also get access to a more versatile moveset which catches rolls to your side - either right or left.
Just a few tips.

Isn't the Monastery Scimitar just an ordinary weapon now? I thought they'd nerfed it's frames, bringing it in line with every other Curves Sword...

I'm strictly doing it to use warped sword without making warped sword OP. If I changed out of powerstance, warped sword retains its OP moveset and counter damage.

Lol i saw one guy doing it, he was using a Great Sword and zooming himself in a circle, i just shot him with arrows till he died. In pve you can use it to down a boss in seconds though :P, still not practical at all.

the "OP" moveset? not really, it doesn't differ much from the Falchion... the OP thing is its high damage output, it has the highest dps in the game when infused and buffed. Also, the counter damage still stays the same.
Also, Monastery got a new patch. It's not as OP as it was when it had insta parry frames and you could even CANCEL your parry animation and still get the parry. Now it's basically the same as the Parrying Dagger

It's downright OP when I used it lol. Have like 5000+ PvP wins/invasions combined, it is the most OP weapon in the game imo. Ice rapier is just annoying in comparison, not so much in the usefulness department. This is speaking without even infusing or buffing what so ever, just straight up timing and counter striking.
