What's the name engraved ring?

I keep getting summoned by the wrong person when I try to co-op with my friend. And when I return to my world I keep getting angry messages saying for me to use the name engraved ring... along with some other choice words.

so what is it exactly?

There's a cat in Majula that sells it.

The Engraved Ring lets you pick from a list of 'gods' once you equip it. Whichever god you pick, you'll only see summon signs of people wearing the ring set to the same god. Vice versa, others will only see your sign if they're on the same god.

Basically, makes private coop a bit easier.

Well, not everyone gets the idea that you want to be summoned by someone specific.

Anyways, with how cheap the ring is, it's worth grabbing. It has the additional benefit of increasing the Soul Memory range for summons, so either you or your friend can be a bit further in the game and still summon eachother.

Actually I find it pretty hard to not be toxic to someone who clearly has the internet at their disposal, but instead of typing a specific phrase into a search engine and doing research themselves, they spam threads all day asking ridiculously easy questions to answer by typing them into a search engine.
