Which shield has the best reaction parrying?

The best item for reactive parries is most likely the Parrying Dagger. Last I checked, it has the fastest startup frames. Second best would be fast small shields / normal small shields.

I would recommend the parry banana (Monastary Scimmy), but even since the nerf, nobody has any idea where exactly the frames are anymore.

Then you look at the "startup" frames and there you can find that Buckler and Target Shield have 11 iframes before the "active" parry is enabled.

Monastery Scimitar is the one iwht the fastest "startup" frames with 8 iframes.

The Wikidot is incorrect with the parrying frames of curved swords. Nobody has tested it extensively since the nerf. That's old data.

Happens. You can't always trust wikis. Wikidot is usually the best, but parrying frames on curved swords took a hard hit when they decided to nerf the banana. Instead of nerfing just the banana, they nerfed all curved swords.

Well they had to nerf the banana it was stupidly good.

I use Target shield. It has the same parry frames as the buckler, and it gives you more defense when you use it as a shield. You can reaction and setup parry with it, and I'd recommend it over the buckler if you want shield to to block and parry with. Sorry for typing so much.
