Lingering Dragoncrest Ring+2 & Ring of Thorns+2

Servers having shut down for vanilla DS2 on console got me thinking right now.
While these rings are already obnoxiously long to get normally, if the servers shut down then it becomes an impossibility, no?
I don't see patches happening at all anymore for this game aside from anything necessary to keep the game running normally after servers would shutdown for this game eventually, but it'd be nice to just find or earn these rings somewhere, for completionist's sake.

Wonder how many earned these rings legit, not that it can even be proven to be legit without 1000 recordings of successes per ring...

Ring of Thorns could be achieved easily by any experienced pvp player (i personally earned 2), but dragoncrest one is impossible.

Not sure about the truth that NPC invaders doesnt count for dragoncrest. But i did some research for it, red soapstone summons doesnt count, mad warrior as well.
And above that you need to kill invader by yourself, otherwise doesnt count.

I got the Lingering Dragoncrest Ring+2 once, it was years ago and on PSN. Basically a higher level arena character that also joined a lot of fight clubs, took months to get invaded enough times. Thorns is doable nowadays too if you try do invasions on a constant basis for a while and playing at a good SM, just keep in mind ALT+f4 enjoyers will hinder that process for you.
