ring of thorns?

so I have a question about this ring
so when someone hits me will they allways take the same dmg or do they take a more dmg the stronger their attack was?

It pretty much has a fixed damage, doesn't matter how strong their attack was.

Not really, you can get significant elemental resistances in this game but can't really do the same with physical

Level Vigor to 50, get Third Dragon Ring and Life Ring+3 and you'll have about 2400HP (assuming your at around SL150). That's the best defense, aside stacking elemental resistance against players using elemental damage.

Works fine against people with low poise because it gives you either a free hit window or allows you to get away after 1 swing.
Other than that it's not very good
It might catch some people by surprise but it's a 1 off gimmick

Each Ring of thorns 0-1-2 throwing 1-2-3 daggers at 60 degree angle between them dealing 30-100 (full upgraded armor-naked)
Any player, who has at least 2 decent pieces of medium armor would just ignore stagger.
So, its only useful against very fast hitting weapons or monsters/players with zero poise.
i believe 16 poise is enough to resists stagger from ring.
