Just do ng++ and buy it if you want the spell.
So yeah, if you don't do it for the fancy aura, going to NG++ for the rewards is infinitely faster.
Tryhards and cheating in the arena is hard to deal with it.
Its also hard to get the aura at low sm.
Sentinels in other hand is borderline unplayable without blue acolyte, its too much waiting time. Arena is dead, ring summoning is very rare (3 summons in entire playthrough with the ring).
The only thing is left is blue invasions with blue acolyte support, but even with global search its 2-3 minutes of waiting everytime.
Tokens are only used to queue up at arenas (only Token of Fidelity gets consumed that way) or consumed manually to grant their respective effects. Token of Fidelity heals a host during co-op and Token of Spite makes getting invaded more likely.
As i've said, a couple days if you're decent. At some point, using higher-tier weapons becomes more important, though, if you want a winrate above 50%.
