Seeker of Fire 2.0 MOD
I played DS2 back when it released in 2014 for hundreds of hours and I vividly remember how awesome it felt to play through SotFS for the first time - a lot of things were changed, including but not limited to Lighting, enemy placement, item placement, etc.

Now, many years later I found out that there is a Seeker of Fire MOD 2.0 and boy, does it change a lot :D

Seeker of Fire changes the game in more ways than SotFS did to the Vanilla game - I'm thoroughly impressed.

If you're a fan of DS2 and want a fresh experience than DEFINITELY try this mod out - it further improves lighting (feels a bit too dark for me but when I max out the Brightness it looks good), it changes many item/enemy placements, adds new routes/shortcuts to the game, gives you max dodge invincibility frames from the get go, etc... Who knows what else it does - I didn't even read through the changes. I just saw that LobosJr played it some weeks ago and really wanted to try it out myself xD

It's ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ awesome. I'm currently working my way thru it now. I'm so glad I bumbled across it!

I'm just curious. Are all DS2 mods compatible to the SOTFS version?

Honestly, I don't know - you'll need to check individually in the MOD description.

I've now spent a lot of time with this MOD and a lot was changed for the better but... I'm not sure I appreciate all of the changes. Specifically, a lot of areas were jumbled up with new progressions and shortcuts - it feels off :D

One minute you're in Erthen Peak, and the next you get transported to the Doors of Pharros - what? Where's the logic xD
And then, the Doors of Pharros area is actually self contained and you cannot progress in any direction (not go back to the scorpioness fight (apparently the fog wall is inaccessible from the back) and not progress to Tseldora...)
