Sir alonne area
love it to kill like 20 knights just to get killed by alonne after. Fume knight was harder to me, but at least the game gave the chance to practise him. (I tried to skip the enemies, but I always die). He is also the only boss I was never able solo in all 3 dark souls games yet, because I always gave up after I died a few times. (I love the game, but this area is not fun to me)

I said ♥♥♥♥ it and used a summon for this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥

I summoned that npc phantom with the shield AFTER I killed all the regular mobs, then brought her to Alone and she served as meathshield distracting him while I hacked and slashed

Died when he still had like 30% hp but that was enough for me to handle on my own

but then perhaps its supposed to be so, I read somewhere that dlc areas are meant for coop

yeah Im also thinking about doing that. The only positive thing about this area is, that it's at least not Gael, Midir, Friede or Ornstein and Smough waiting for you ;DD

It would've been funny if they added all those bosses then added a pinwheel and magus just for kicks

On the topic of getting to Alonne though, I found it easier to skip the first section and drop down the hole. The knights usually don't follow you down there. That way it gives you a couple less knights to worry about.

Poor pinwheel... people are always making jokes about him :D I thought that he was an enemy who got summoned by a boss, when I killed him. Glass Knight for example

ok, I finally defeated him. I saw someone talking about agility and I had only 82... so no wonder that I got hit so often I guess lol

Great job! And dang only 82 agility? Did you beat the Fume Knight yet? No agility vs fume knight is torture from what I've heard
Mathi :) Aug 16, 2020 @ 4:55pm
yep I defeated him with 82 agility, I did not know that this exists. So far as I know this was not in dark souls 1, dark souls 3 and bloodborne... I realised that avoiding hits was way harder than in the other dark souls games, thats why I was confused why everyone says that ds2 is the easiest out of all the dark souls games.. I think I died about 10 times to fume knight solo (he killed me the most often out of all bosses) the second boss I struggeled with was the smelter demon. First phase of fume knight is a bit easy, because it is obvious what he is about to do, but I had a big problem with phase 2. it was nearly impossible for me to get the right timing with 82 agility. So yeah it was torture, but you are able to fight this boss without killing other enemies, so it is easier to learn his attacks compared to alonne.

its hardest, not easiest

even if you put aside bossfight difficulty, huge hitboxes, low stamina bar and horrible level design meant to surprise kill you...
you have life draining hollowing system every time you die, reversable only with limited amount of human effigies and no way to farm souls to overlevel yourself due to respawn limit

and soul memory system meant to screw you over even if you fail to recover lost souls

Imagine if they combined dark souls 1 (damage the enemies and bosses do), dark souls 2 (huge hitboxes, hard level design, hollowing system), and dark souls 3 (amount of different attacks bosses have.. soul of cinder for example) now that would be a true nightmare lol

I set myself up to make Alonne commit sudoku(which means to kill him without getting hit once).
First problem i encountered was travel to his arena - it's total aids.
Just after couple of tries i've already had enough of this crap - made one successful run to his arena and made a save backup just outside smoke gate.
After 30+ attempts i can confidently say this - this boss is an unfunny piece of garbage if you're trying to no-hit him.

I would have ALT+F4 out of the game and uninstalled it, if I tried that :DD
