DARK SOULS™ II: Scholar of the First Sin

DARK SOULS™ II: Scholar of the First Sin

Statistiche:
Is there any way to revert to vanilla enemy placement from SOTFS?
I played and beat this game years ago on PS3, but I don't remember the absolutely ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ amount of enemies swarming you under every five feet (it happened occasionally, but not constantly). I'm assuming this is because the PS3 version didn't have the changes to enemy placement the PC version has and I think it was better for it. Is there any way to revert to the vanilla enemy placement or are there any mods that do the same thing? I'd like to play through the game again so I can actually remember more of it (I'd also like to play a game where faith builds aren't subpar), but as it is the game simply does not feel fair and, more importantly, it does not feel fun.

This is the Scholar version so no, you'd have to buy the OG DS2 if you want to play the PS3 version again.
There are not very many enemies in the game........
This is not Shadow of The Colossus nor Monster Hunter which is entirely focused on bosses.

They should have added a boss rush mode to appease you hollows.
You can always do the classic MMO tactic of pulling back with a ranged shot, a lot of enemies aren't linked especially in the early game.

I didn't realize that the original was still available. I just assumed they had removed the original from the store when they released the SOTFS version like they did with the prepare to die edition of the first game when the remaster came out. It's not really worth it to me to purchase the same game for a third time right now, but that's very useful information to have and I thank you for it.

Honestly, this is probably what I did the first time I played it. I'll stick with it a little longer and see if I enjoy it more once my build has some more points in it. I really do want to enjoy the game and I appreciate the advice.
I enjoyed the original much more than Scholar. Scholar is BS with its enemy placement. It's like someone was playing "Souls Maker" and just got happy and started placing the most annoying enemies in groups in random places. And blocking off doors/areas with those statues is annoying as well. It just seems like they tried to make it hard for the sake of being hard, with no real thought behind it. But...opinions are subjective.

Unless you rush forward as in ds3, you will fight always 1 on 1, sometimes 2 and additional range unit. DS2 is the easiest game in the series and original version is even easier.

As about the statues...a single statue required to access lord soul and thats it. Everything else is optional. I guess you could unlock another one to get estus shard. And unlock path to ruin sentinels. its 3 branches from 16 in entire game.
