Fullscreen issues with dual monitors
I would like to play DARK SOULS™ II: Scholar of the First Sin for the first time with friends in full screen on my dual monitor setup. However, whenever I load up the game or alt-tab back into it, it pulls every window from the second monitor to the one where Dark Souls 2 is on, basically making my dual monitors worthless. I just want to have Discord or something on the other monitor, am I the only one this happens to??

Try windowed mode or if you wanna keep it fullscreen, try forcing a borderless fullscreen window with tools, like "Borderless Gaming" or "Special K".
If you ever want to play on ultrawide or have the game be displayed on multiple monitors on more (or less) exotic resolutions or aspect ratios, you can use "Flawless Widescreen" instead, which also offer a borderless fullscreen window-mode.

While the game doesn't have a native borderless fullscreen window-option, there's an obscure config file in the game's install path, that can achieve pretty much the same thing, but it might be more of a hassle to use that instead of any of the above tools instead and won't help you, if you encounter a similar issue with another game:

Edit:
Links to the tools mentioned above (use only one):

(there's also a newer, paid version on Steam, if you wanna throw the dev a few dollars)

Usually, i would say "there's never a 100% guarantee, so use at your own risk", but with Flawless Widescreen, i can confidently say, that it is safe to use. I was never using this particular tool, but Borderless Gaming, ReShade and always have RTSS running in the background for the past 12 years without issues. All of these also use graphic API hooks to do their thing.

DS2's softban system isn't smart or sophisticated and only really checks for impossible stats or "param" changes, which are gamefiles containing various stats, like merchant inventories or item effects. You can even modify the game's texture files as much as you want (I've done that on DS:R without issues).

The only soulsgame on PC, where Flawless Widescreen specifically would be an issue, is Elden Ring, due to using Easy Anti-Cheat and not being whitelisted. But that game would just refuse to launch with it, forcing you to play in offline mode, if you want ultra-wide.
