Something that's always been odd to me is how fluid some animations are, like mace attack animations, but then you look at the Estus chug animation and it looks very crude in comparison.
I mostly like the stiff animations and weird looking enviroments since it really settles in that feeling of being an undead imo, but I do wish it was a little more consistent.
On the other hand some zones like Dragon Aire, The dlc zones and Shrine of Amana look amazing.
Gee, I wonder if Drangleic feeling incomplete is because fromsoft decided to rush their developers into finishing the game 2 years earlier and with a fraction of their original budget.
Nahhh!!! I'm pretty sure that is not it, there must be a better explanation, something like "devs bad hur hur", yes that sounds about right.
I cant enjoy DS3 & ER combat as much, its to over the top.
Also still neither have topped Shulva and Brume tower in level design for me.
At this point Im not even hype for ER dlc because I really didnt care for the open world.
Also rip fashion souls.
