Bosses too easy?
I've just reached King Vendrick and had no problem beating every boss I've found until him, every armored boss kinda played the same (avoid and hit) and to the non-humanoids just smack that booty. The most amount of trouble that a boss gave me were the gargoyles, but not because they were challenging, but because of the love this game has for throwing 10 enemies at you at a time.

Both in ds1 and ds3 there were bosses that I had a lot of trouble with at the beginning (looking to you manus, midir), but this one just seems different to me. I've died more times in the areas to get to the boss than in the boss itself.

And it's not that I'm using some op ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥t or whatever it is in this game. To be honest I don't even know what kind of magic are in DS2, I'm just using the first axe I found at the beginning of the game and a hat with item discovery...

yeah the game is kinda like that. Avoid using healing stones

Just like with the other 2 Dark Souls games, it hides the best bossfights inside the DLCs.

But base-game DS2 bosses are definitely on the easier side, but not neccessarily easier than DS1. I bet most players would struggle through the first half of the game, like most others did in DS1, if this was their first foray into the soulsborne franchise. Bossfights still are DS2's weak point imo. Compared to DS3, DS2 teaches us a valuable lesson: Quality over quantity.

DS 2 has the widest spectrum for everything throughout the franchise, and that includes the boss fights.

You might be interested in doing a NG+ run, the game spices things up a bit with completely new enemy placements... and more importantly, bosses are a lot faster (and some get new tricks). The biggest challenge factor comes from things suddenly giving you almost no time to attack back, it's like a completely different game. (Nashandra, Covetous Demon and The Rotten all stays ridiculously easy even in NG+ difficulties, though)

the controls are very fluid in this game.
its really hard to get hit by mini boss like pursuer.
i guess thatrs why they did ng+ shenanigans like 2 pursuer at once or ng++ fume knight

I've almost completed this game, and it has been my first step into the Dark Souls trilogy. I can confirm that the bosses have been easier than the actual exploration/pathblazing to get to said boss. I found the grind through enemies to be cheap and annoying, particularly at the beginning, but the boss battles kept up my enthusiasm and drive to push forward.

I literally stopped playing this game for a few days because I can;t seem to defeat the dlc bosses.
The base game bosses was a walk in the park for me and I think I died like twice with them..... The dlc ones on the other.... why does this game hate me?

Just beat fume knight in my second try. First time I died because of not knowing that his 3 swings combo could extend to 4 and being overly greedy. Kinda disappointed how easy it was. His attacks are heavily telegraphed and he always finishes his attack combo on moving his shoulders backwards, so, easy to know when to attack.

Although, there were some questionable hits that he made with his small weapon that shouldn't have hit me at all and some of the hits of his big weapon that looked like they hit me but didn't. Same goes for me hitting him. Will look forward towards next bosses, but until now I've beaten every boss of dlc in my second try, one at my first (using only estus).

Edit: Just beat Sir Alonne. Holly f*** the adrenaline. By far the best bossfight of ds2 until now. Died a few times to him. Hits hard, good hitboxes (except the grab attack if you dodge it to his right), really fast and quite a big move-set when comparing to other bosses. Expecting more of these until I finish the game.

Easiest souls game by far, even the DLC bosses are easy af compared to ds1/ds3....Fume Knight is just endurance test. And Sir Alonne is easy af too, what makes Sir Alonne tough are those 1000 knights placed in every tiny corner....or bosses like Lud, which is basically 5 minutes blind run to the boss from bonfire....very "tough" indeed.
