But base-game DS2 bosses are definitely on the easier side, but not neccessarily easier than DS1. I bet most players would struggle through the first half of the game, like most others did in DS1, if this was their first foray into the soulsborne franchise. Bossfights still are DS2's weak point imo. Compared to DS3, DS2 teaches us a valuable lesson: Quality over quantity.
its really hard to get hit by mini boss like pursuer.
i guess thatrs why they did ng+ shenanigans like 2 pursuer at once or ng++ fume knight
The base game bosses was a walk in the park for me and I think I died like twice with them..... The dlc ones on the other.... why does this game hate me?
Although, there were some questionable hits that he made with his small weapon that shouldn't have hit me at all and some of the hits of his big weapon that looked like they hit me but didn't. Same goes for me hitting him. Will look forward towards next bosses, but until now I've beaten every boss of dlc in my second try, one at my first (using only estus).
Edit: Just beat Sir Alonne. Holly f*** the adrenaline. By far the best bossfight of ds2 until now. Died a few times to him. Hits hard, good hitboxes (except the grab attack if you dodge it to his right), really fast and quite a big move-set when comparing to other bosses. Expecting more of these until I finish the game.
