the difference between normal and dark hands, is that dark one is better when you are hollow, but It doesn't worth
Edit: from my experienced You will get the most damage as pure sorc or hexer. Pyro is fun, has a poison mist etc but I found most spells boring. Or You hit and 2 shot someone or You will miss every spell...
If you think other spells are slow then prepare to have your head exploded. Pyromancy is probably the slowest casting spells in the game.
That was true in Dark Souls 1. However, now, your fire damage scale from the stat called "FireBNS", which scales from your FTH+INT. So now, if you want to hit hard with fire, you have to get either int, faith, or both. It scales linearly though, meaning you will get the same damage from 20INT+20FTH and 10INT+30FTH.
EDIT: I already knew and can confirm that fire scaling increases with int and faith added together.
The normal pyromancy flame scales with faith+int, the dark one scales with fait+int (although less than the normal one) and hollowing, and has better base damage.
So, basically, you'll do the most damage when fully hollow with the dark pyromancy flame, but the more faith/int you'll get, the more interesting the normal flame will be, since being hollow all the time is a pain, and you'll only get a tiny bit of additional damage at high int/faith.
TL;DR : Get the normal pyromancy flame, it'll save you a ring slot, and being hollow isn't worth doing 50 more damage.
The DARK glove scales with hollowing. You have to be fully hollow (50% HP) to make it fully effective. That's why noone uses it, unless together with Forlorn-stuff.
