Bone fist is a great weapon, you just need to bait people with it more than the others.
I was talking about PvE though. And it kinda sucks there. At least against the habitants of Eleum Loyce.
Some weapons are only useful in PVP, including the bonefist.
They're fast and have low weight, they've fast recovery times and are made for a more agile playstyle. You hit a few times, you dodge, you hit again etc.
So yeah, you're probably using it wrong. Some attacks have knockdown btw. Many humanoid enemies can be slammed on the floor.
When I see that I just know Im gonna get wrecked by someone who is actually skillful.
The only weapon where "I CAME IN LIKE A WREEECKING BALL" is applicable.
Love just leap kicking enemies off cliffs and that Hadouken is tough as hell, it's gonna be better on the less mobile foes and bosses than the speedy ones (lost sinner primarily) but it's a solid weapon ^^
Also Eleum Loyce is a screwy place as is. It's like it flips the typical weakness over on it's head. Slashing weapons seem to do better than strike and thrust.
I love that slower powerstancing means you can align your attack and if you time it your foe will come running at you just as you let rip allowing you to kill them fast.
it's the reason you don't trade with katanas.
